Our plan for Elm Park is focused on the issues that matter most: cracking down on crime and tackling fly-tipping, standing up for drivers and commuters, and delivering real value for local taxpayers.
Your Conservative candidates, Chukwuemeka Echedom, Bharathi Subramani and Matej Travnicek are committed to working hard for Elm Park, keeping our streets safe, our neighbourhood clean, and ensuring residents get a fair deal.
[1] Tackle fly-tipping & protect our environment
We will push for tougher enforcement, more clear-ups, and more bins for cleaner streets and parks.
[2] Crack down on crime, shop theft & anti-social behaviour
We will work with the police to make our streets safer, with more patrols, improved street lighting, and CCTV.
[3] Stand up for commuters
We will protect the Freedom Pass and affordable Tube travel by opposing Reform’s plans to leave London, while pushing for more frequent bus services.
[4] Fair deal for drivers
We will review parking charges, including the 50% PCN discount, and continue investing over £1 million extra in fixing potholes made possible by Havering being in London.
[5] Invest in our green spaces
We will improve Harrow Lodge Park, Bretons Outdoor Recreation Centre and Hornchurch Country Park, making them cleaner, safer and more accessible.
[6] Demand value for money
We will scrutinise council spending, root out waste, and increase efficiency, for example by renewing the roll-out of costefficient LED street lighting and upgrading our libraries.
